Platform: Windows (Itch.io, Steam Greenlight) Engine: Unity C# Role: Gameplay Programmer Team: One Hit Wizard - 8 people Date & Duration: September 2016 to April 2018 External Links: Itch Project Description One Run Dungeon is a side-scrolling, run-and-gun platformer with one goal: beat the entire game in one run. We had a full release on Itch.io and even succeeded in getting the project approved by the now-defunct Steam Greenlight, however it was never officially released on that platform. One Run Dungeon was the first major project I worked on with a team of other developers, and for that reason it was a huge learning experience both in terms of technical skill and working with developers of other design disciplines. At the beginning of this project's lifetime I worked solely as the lead programmer, but as development progressed I shifted into the role of project manager as well. Role Description Gameplay Programmer: My primary tasks for this project were to implement and refine all gameplay mechanics, locate and remove bugs, and to help guide the project's creative direction. Broadly, I was responsible for implementing all of the elements pertaining to One Run Dungeon's core gameplay. I was the studio's only programmer, and by the end of development I had shifted into the role of project manager as well. Here are a few examples of the features I implemented:
